WHO I AM
I began working in the field of mental health in Brazil in 2001. Over the years, my path has been shaped by a strong interest in inner life, cultural transitions, and the ways people respond to change and adversity.
My Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Culture allowed me to explore themes of migration and adaptation—areas that continue to be central in my work with expats, immigrants, and Third Culture Kids.
I trained for six years as a Jungian Analyst (ANZJA, IAAP), a process that deeply informs how I think about the unconscious, symbolic life, and the process of individuation. I’m also trained in EMDR, which supports a more focused and structured approach to working with trauma.
Alongside clinical work in private settings, I’ve also collaborated with organisations like UNICEF and UN Women, especially during the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis.
I offer sessions in English and Portuguese, with attention to cultural background, life experience, and the personal meaning behind symptoms and emotional struggles.
